  • In German tradition, the grooms friends will kidnap the bride to a bar and the groom has to go find his bride. The groom will go bar to bar buying drinks for himself and others, while the bride and his friends drink at their stationed bar until the groom finds her! Florence is a large big city so Vanessa will be compiling a list for everyone that may include 5-10 bars that Danny (and the bridesmaids that go with him) and Danny’s friends and Vanessa can choose from. Once Danny has found his bride — we will go out to a club and celebrate till sundown with all whom want to meet us out!

  • Danny's groomsmen will kidnap Vanessa, and Vanessa's bridesmaids will go with Danny to hunt Vanessa and the boys down at a bar. Plus ones of wedding party can meet up with us at the club after Danny has found his bride!

  • As the German tradition goes - Danny will be wearing a head scarf and carrying a broom around Florence. Vanessa will wear a white dress and a vail. Think of this as a night out on the town! For wedding party and their plus ones joining at club please refrain on wearing white or prints with white.

  • We will all meet at the hotel Danny and Vanessa are staying at - the Calimala Hotel. Our content creator, photographer and videographer will be in attendance - be yourself, have fun and let's bop around Florence and make questionable decisions.

  • Should the wedding party want to do something with the bride and groom this would be done before the kidnapping during the day. This is still TBD. Florence has tons to offer like vintage designer shopping tours, custom charm jewelry design stores, brunch, golf, wine tastings and more. As we get closer to the date. Danny and Vanessa will get with everyone to discuss!

  • Wedding party will have all day on Sunday and Monday to explore Florence themselves.

  • The ceremony space is about an hour away thus we are planning on doing the rehearsal at the hotel Calimala where the rehearsal dinner will take place on the rooftop. TBD on exact rehearsal time, but prepare to be at the hotel by 5:00PM as dinner starts at 6:00PM. Following dinner we will be hosting a private cocktail hour for all guests to come and enjoy on the same rooftop at 8:00PM.

  • Rehearsal will only be family and wedding party. Plus ones can join the rehearsal dinner at 6:00PM.

  • Elevated cocktail attire. Please refrain from wearing white, creams or white prints.

  • TBD on where in Hotel Calimala we will be having the rehearsal. We will be sending out formal details as the date gets closer.
